In addition to the visual camouflage and the near-infrared signature, PHANTOMLEAF® ADDER TIR products offer a unique protection in the thermal infrared range. It’s high tech material and specific design reduce the perceived surface temperature by up to 10 °C when observed with optronic equipment.

ADDER TIR products remain air permeable, avoiding heat congestion within the garment and heat stress of the wearer.

The functionality is most effective on open terrain and under clear skies at surrounding temperatures between 0 °C and 37 °C.
